A. It will be like changing the brake discs on any other car. If you are a competent mechanic you will have no problem. If you are driving a Daewoo...You better hire it done. To save money, buy your own parts from an auto parts store. Tell your mechanic that you were going to install it yourself but you dont have the time. Then you just pay for labor and you save the Parts Markup over retail by the mechanic. He wont warranty the parts, but brake part failure is Very Rare. Good luck! If you dont feel comfortable buying your own parts, call a parts store for retail prices and make sure your mechanic does not charge higher than retail. You should not get his Mechanics Discount when buying parts, but you should not have to pay more than retail… [cont.]

Would anyone know how to change a heater fan motor on a 2000 Daewoo laganza. not working..?
Q. The Fuses all seem to be good. I was hoping it would be something easy and not to expensive.

A. It is up inside the dash behind the glove box. Try purchasing a Chilton or Haynes manual from a parts store. They would address this issue in a step by step process.

A. Most timing belts require alot of labor to replace. Most belt should be replaced per manufacture between 60,000-100,000 miles. (depending on vehicle. If the belt has jumped a tooth, the belt is stretched and needs replaced

Cooling system leak, Daewoo laganza?
Q. I have just bought a Daewoo laganza 1999, water is escaping from the water tank (engin cooling system) when the engine is running. I have checked the oil and it doesn't look like the head gasket has gone and it doesn't overheat, the temperature gauge is always about half way. The heating doesn't really work in the car but this might just be because there isn't any water in the cooling system. Has anyone expericenced this problem before? thanks

A. You need to replace the filler cap on the header tank. Ja.

A. Try chevrolet, they bought out daewoo and produce all the new daewoo models the exact same but with a chevy badge. It depends how old your car is though and what parts you want.

A. you have to take off the front right wheel and remove the engine mount (be sure to support the weight of the engine), remove the timing belt cover and serpintine belt where you see the timing belt wheels, right there you will see the sensor. Kind of a mess to get to it.
