Q. I have a 7 year old cockatiel. I've heard that the younger cockatiels are easier to teach tricks. A. You should be able to teach him at any age. We get in rescues of all age and most of them learn very quickly. Find his fav treat and teach by repetition and reward. Say something over and over, when ever he says it give a treat. You can also use que words like I used to fake sneeze then say bless you. Eventually my bird started to mimic so I would sneeze and if he said bless you he got a treat. You can do that with anything. Just stay consistent and positive. Good Luck

What is the difference between Wardleys bullseye 7.0 and Seachem liquid Neutral regulator ?
Q. Ive been using wardleys bullseye 7.0 and been fine. I would like to use the Seachem 7.0 liquid Regulator as it is less expesive and will last longer. I have two low tech tanks with java fern and Anubias.

In persian mysteries there were severn caverns. I also believe there were seven chakras...though there may have been five. 13 is harder to understand. One answer is that it was lucky to early pagans - so when christians took over it was considered unlucky. Also christian was that - with the ultimate sinner, Judas - there were thirteen people at the last supper. Witches would gather in groups of twelve believing the devil was the thirteenth member. Q. My 7 year old daughter's birthday is on July 4. (She's an Independence Baby!) And we were planning to have it in Great Wolf Lodge, but they're booked for the whole week. I've tried waking him up earlier in the morning so he will sleep earlier at night but then he is grumpy in the day and has lots of naps. Q. I have a 7 oz sirloin that I want cooked rare. I don't have a traditional grill, so I am wrapping it in foil and cooking it on my George Foreman grill. So anyhow, I was wondering how long I should cook it for to get it rare.

How do I get a 7 month old baby to sleep through the night?
Q. I have a 7 month old baby who is pretty happy. She takes two 1 1/2- 2 hour naps during the day no problem. However, she is still getting up 1-2 times a night to feed. I am not breastfeeding and she is getting cereal right before bed. The doctor says there is no reason that she should be getting up to feed and that she should be sleeping through the night. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get her to sleep through the night? I have researched the Ferber method and other sleep situations and I am willing try anything. I am looking for the best suggestions that you have tried, before I go out on my own. This is the hardest thing ever and I do not know of anyone else in my situation. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

A. I know it sounds cruel, but this works. Just don't give her the bottle. She will cry for about an hour the first night. Maybe half an hour the second, and possibly a little the third. When my daughter did this, I let her sleep in bed with me (only when she woke up though) and after three nights, she was sleeping through the night, no problem. Your daughter is only waking up out of habit, she can't change the habit without your help. Your doc is right, she doesn't need the extra meals, but she will continue to wake if you don't do something. This also teaches her how to self sooth. I learned the hard way, my daughter didn't sleep through the night till she was 18MO because I couldn't stand to hear her cry for a bottle and would… [cont.]
