How are the 6 friends displayed in the profile page in Facebook selected?
Q. Every time you open facebook 6 friends are displayed on the left, and every day those change. At first I thought they were picked at random, but if so why every time you refresh the page the same 6 friends are displayed (or 5 the same 1 changes) but arranged differently? Could it be the last people that viewed your profile?

A. + Do you mind my asking why? Here is an old way. It takes some time. Soak 6 lbs of beans overnight in cold water. Drain water and add 6 #10 cans of peeled tomatoes. Added 4 medium green Jalapeno peppers and 6 pounds of grilled beef (cut into bite sized pieces) add one garlic clove and two white onions sliced. Simmer for several hours. It should cook down to about 6 gallons and make you the star of the show. good luck

What party games are suitable for 6-9 couples who were randomly paired?
Q. I need help on this..I'm planning a party game for 6-9 pairs who were assigned at random and who know little about each other. They only have a small area to move around in so the game cannot be a relay or racing kind. The 6-9 couples have to compete with one another and the game has to let the pair 'work' together and be as creative as possible. I was thinking of an answer and question game but i can't come up with fun questions to ask them.

How to spend 6 hours in Airport connection?
Q. I've a 6 hours btw my two connecting flights, that I'm gonna be spending at Moscow. any suggestions what to do with them?
Asked by Mango_lover - Fri Oct 6 13:40:18 2006 - - 12 Answers - 0 Comments
A. I would find a flyer or tour guide map before you get there, check out the best thing you should do, hire a cab, and tour the city. Cabbies usually know their way around, and would have the inside scoop on what to do. (unless they have a really good bus or subway system and you don't mind figuring that out.) Whatever you do, don't stay at the airport. Come on now, when will the opportunity to be in Moscow come around again?

A. There is no set amount. I would say on average, raises in the US are around 2% to 3%. Accordingly, you might get 1% to 1.5%.

How lumpy is a 6 months food meant to be?
Q. My little boy has been on solids since he was 4 months. Now he is no 3 meals a day that he is 6 months. I normaly do my own dinners. I have just doen a new lot and have left them with some lumpy bits in it. But we are on holidays next month and I have got some jars to take. A. the only way to get babies used to lumps is to keep trying but slowly!, they need to learn how to control their gag reflex and choking slightly is perfectley normal. 6 months isnt too young-every baby is different some tolerate lumps from the younger age. dont puree it so its almost runny keep a bit of thickness in it, and keep trying, you will know if he if struggling but it does take time.

Once claimed "1" or "2", but now "6" on W4 form. How does this change my taxes and paycheck?
Q. I always just claimed 1 or 2 in my W4 forms, but now I've jsut recently claimed 6. I've always had some sort of a return every year. How does claiming 6 change things for my taxes and paycheck?
Asked by Red Bird - Tue Sep 18 00:38:18 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Claiming a higher number of allowances means that less will be withheld from your paycheck. Your refund, if you have one, will be lower by whatever extra amount you got in your paycheck - if the extra allowances cause you to not have as much withheld as your tax liability for the year, you won't get a refund and instead will owe the difference at tax time. It doesn't affect the total amount that you pay, just when you pay it.

How often does a 6 month old have nightmares?
Q. My six month old recently has not been sleeping properly. She would wake up, won't open her eyes, but cry and scream hysterically. Is she having nightmares? And how often does a 6 month old get them? If it helps any, she is teething and has a diaper rash, could that be the cause of her screaming and crying? I'm just getting a little concerned?
Asked by Mommy of 2 awesome babies - Mon May 14 12:48:44 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. They are not nightmares, they are called night terrors. I am not sure exactly what causes them. But I do know that you are not the only parent experiencing them with their child. They can go away or could last for years. I would talk to your pediatrician on your next check up or maybe even schedule an early one just to talk with them about them. They will be able to tell you the best ways to handle them better than me. But I am definitely sure that they are night terrors not nightmares, doesn't sound like too much difference but there is. I hope it all works out for you.

How should i decorate my 6 gallon tank so that it really brings out my indian dwarf puffer?
Q. Since the dwarf puffer is so small i thought i would be hard to see it in a 6 gallon tank. Im thinking black sand with a black background. Do you think this would work to help bring it out? Also, maybe 1 or 2 artificial plants and a small cave? What do you think? Any other suggestions?
Asked by here_4_1_day - Tue Oct 14 20:27:41 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Well, when keeping puffers especially you need LOTS of hiding spots. They are very smart critter's and need something to interest them and explore. Also, the more hiding spots you have, the more comfortable the puffer will be and the more often he will be out and about in his tank so you can see him!

How do I keep my 6 month old from getting so distracted while breastfeeding?
Q. Anytime we are away from home, like out shopping or visiting, I cannot get her to nurse. She looks around, turns her head and refuses to eat. She's gone 5 or 6 hours without nursing, then when we get home, immediately wants to nurse. So I know she's hungry, she just can't help herself. I'm afraid to go anywhere for too long for fear that she won't eat. I've tried fitting rooms, in the backseat of the car, everything. Any suggestions?

A. Haha, isn't it a joy? It's fine for her to go for 5-6 hours without nursing at this stage, just expect her to nurse more when you get home. My first always needed a toy in his hand from this age onwards to distract his fingers and keep his attention. A necklace helps too. It really is just a phase that passes. She's also very efficient at this point--she might be able to get enough milk in 3 minutes of nursing, which used to take her 15 minutes when she was a newborn. I have a friend whose babies never nursed more than 5 minutes. Just go with the flow. As she gets a little older and finds out that the world really isn't quite as interesting as she thought it was, she'll settle back into nursing a little longer wherever.

A. With few exceptions, all dogs bark. Barking is a natural behaviour and it is a way of communicating. While the messages can range from loneliness to hunger or playfulness, most often barking is used as an alarm or alert signal that indicates to the other pack members that a stranger or intruder is approaching Most people have a feeling of security and comfort knowing their dogs are on the job . Some people even encourage their dogs to bark and growl when the doorbell rings or someone knocks. They feel this is acceptable behaviour, however, when the dogs become uncontrollable, with barking that is excessive, they become a nuisance. Life is miserable for neighbours who must listen day after day to barking dogs. Excessive barking often… [cont.]

What size diaper does your 6 month old wear?
Q. My little one just moved to 3's because 2's are to tight on him we are using Pampers Cruisers. My boyfriend grandmother is always in my Business and she said a baby shouldn't wear size 3 until there 9 months old. Just wondering what size diaper your baby wore or wears at 6 months old. Thanks everyone. It's not my grandma LOL it's my boyfriends grandma ;)

A. let your baby wear whatever size is comfortable. I am only 34 and my mom didn't have decent disposable diapers when we were kids, so I wonder where grandma is getting her info. My son started 3's around this age cause 2's leaked, and he is a little peanut! he only weighed 15 or 16 lbs at that age.
