Does sleeping a 3 hour sleep during the day make my baby sleep less during the night?
Q. My baby boy is 3 months old, and usually has 45 minute sleeps during the day. Lately, his evening nap has turned into 2.5-3 hours. Is this going to affect his nighttime sleep in anyway. He is a breastfed baby.We usually wake up 2-3 times a night.

A. getting up 2-3 times in the night- totally normal, mine was to bed at 7, up at 12 then up at 3 until about 5 months, now he only gets up at 3 and I'm pretty excited about that! I know that breast milk is metabolized faster than formula so physiologically they NEED to eat through the night- not their fault- tiny tummies. Having said that I was given advice by a nurse not to let baby sleep more than 2 hours in the day to avoid day-night confusion. Good luck.

Bacteria: pneumonia( streptococcus pneumoniae),Salmonella(sa lmonella species), Gonorrhea( Neisseria gonorrhoeae)..other diseases- syphylis,cholera..you can google these and see the name of the bacteria. Viruses are parasites and their mode of operation varies. They can survive only when they parasitise another organism, you name the organism and there is a virus that lives on it.They live in our cells, the nucleus, cytoplasm and they live in a varied number of cells. I have 3 goldfish with a betta. How can i get rid of the goldfish and what fish should i add?
Q. I bought 3 goldfish from walmart with my betta. now, after reading about fish i realized that was a bad idea. where can i take the fish. I do not want to kill them. I would feel bad. Do you think walmart would take them back and give me credit? (although they were only 28 cents each.) i would even give them back free. so if i got rid of them what fish would be good to put with my betta. I have a ten gallon tank. I dont want to spend big money like 2 or 3 bucks a fish would be good.

A. Did you know that those cute little 28 cent feeder fish are actually baby comets that grow up to be at least a foot long! If you want them to find a good home, try craigslist.com On the site look for your city, then go under the pets section. Type in fish under the search box. Depending on where you live, most likely someone will be looking for pond fish. Or maybe they want to rescue them, where I live someone has started a goldfish rescue and they have a HUGE (I believe 500+ gallon pond) for goldies. So once you find the baby comets a good home (with at least 55 gallons per baby comet and a filter with a gallons per hour rate of at least 300 gallons) you want to now what to put with your betta. Honestly, I don't if you could put fish in… [cont.]

1 of 3 inheritees dies before mother, whose will is split 3 ways. What happens to inheritees third?
Q. Mother's will is split equally between 3 offspring. One child dies. What happens to their inheritance? Does it pass to their son, or does the inheritance then get split between the 2 remaining daughters.
Asked by clicli - Tue Jun 23 16:08:36 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. It really depends on how the will is written. Some wills have provisos for that type of situation. I would ask the lawyer that wrote the will, or at the very least get a copy of the will and take it to another lawyer so they can explain it to you.

A. Different Colors P(White Red Black) = [C(3,1)/C(12,1 x C(4,1)/C(12,1) x C(5,1)/C(12,1)] x P(3,3) = [3/12 x 4/12 x 5/12] x 3! = [3x4x5/12^3] x 3! Same Color P(All White U All Red U All Black) = P(W1 W2 W3) + P(R1 R2 R3) + P(B1 B2 B3) = [C(3,1)/C(12,1)]^3 + [C(4,1)/C(12,1)]^3 + [C(5,1)/C(12,1)]^3 = (3/12)^3 + (4/12)^3 + (5/12)^3 = 3^3 + 4^3 + 5^3/12^3

3 Feet tall weeds growing in mulch bedding for later gardening. How to rid of them?
Q. I put down biodegradable paper on the area before mulching hoping that would help keep the weeds down after using weed killer to kill them first. They appeared dead and then mulched after placing the paper on top. Well, bastards are coming through again and looks hideous. I don't want to plant any flowers or bushes until I get rid of these. What is the best way to get rid of these weeds that are growing 3 feet tall?

A. I'd mow and then turn the soil over. Plant and then keep up with the weeding. Treat yourself to a hula hoe and some cheap gloves.

A. Hi. This is a strange question as there is some contradiction in what you have been asked to do. You have to do a monochrome painting using three colours? Well, that, I am afraid, is impossible as the definition of monochrome is as following: (1)A picture, especially a painting, done in different shades of a single color. (2)The art or technique of executing such a picture. (3)The state of being in a single color. So, as you see, a monochrome painting can only be done using ONE colour (and different shades thereof). A Black and white photograph is monochrome because the picture is composed only of shades of grey. If you have been asked to do this as an art assignment I would check to see what your teacher actually wants of you, as… [cont.]

A. With extra hardware and cable boxes you can. The hardware would be commercial/industrial I think, or you could do it with your computer and a few tuner cards. Some TVs can do two pictures, with PIP.

A. My daughter is 9 weeks old and she has only fed about 8-10 minutes per breast since birth, and a lot of times it's only one breast that she'll eat. I was worried about it too, thinking she wasn't getting enough, and asked the pediatrician who replied, the older a baby gets the more proficient they get at eating and it takes them about 8 minutes to fully drain a breast. If they stay on a lot longer they're probably doing it for their need to suck, not to eat. As long as your son is having wet/dirty diapers and gaining weight approriately, than he's just a really good eater! Three hour clips at night sounds about right too. If you want to get him to sleep a little longer, try a dream feed, where you feed him, he falls asleep for bedtime… [cont.]

Will 3 goldfish be enough to feed beneficial bacteria in a 55 gallon tank?
Q. Is it OK to keep 3 goldfish in a 55 gallon tank or is it understocking? Will it to be enough to keep the beneficial bacteria alive? They are fancies.
Asked by FishMan - Tue Mar 17 15:14:24 2009 - - 8 Answers - 0 Comments
A. The amount of bacteria will adjust to match the amount of fish in the tank. So as long as there is any number of fish, there will be some bacteria to match and the tank will stay cycled. The only thing to watch is that the cycle will reduce to a lower level, so you need to take care when adding more fish. Build up the fish numbers slowly over a few weeks to allow the cycle to build up again. Ian

My pug puppies are 3 weeks old today, when do I start intoducing them to moistened puppy food?
Q. I have heard 3 weeks to 4 weeks. Do puppies start nursing less frequent when they hit 3 weeks old? I'm not planning on taking them from their mother until at least 8 weeks old.
Asked by red8chevyracefan - Wed Jan 3 00:33:25 2007 - - 9 Answers - 1 Comments
A. You need to seperate them from their mother far before 8 weeks old. You dont want them nursing that long! You need to ween them at about 4 weeks, because they need their first puppy shots at 6 weeks, and it takes about 2 weeks for the maternal antibodies to fade off, so if you take them off their mommas milk at 4 weeks, they will be protected until they get their first vaccines. Wait a week and then start to soak dry food (small kibbles) in water and have them eat that. Wet food may cause them to have diarrhea, so i would stick with puppy chow. Good Luck!

A. You should introduce them gradually and be patient. At the end of April, we brought a kitten into our home where we already had two other cats. It took about a week for our five year old to become friends with the new cat. Our older one (he's 8) still doesn't like the new guy, but they are able to live in the same house without any incidents other than a little bit of hissing if the new cat comes too close to the oldest one. There are more tips on how to introduce cats to each other in the link below.

A. If you've got Windows Movie Maker preloaded on your computer, it would be a breeze. Its a a simple and user friendly software that makes video editing easy. Plus - there are loads of effects and transitions. You coud even join videos for your case. It then saves it as a '.avi' video file.

When did your baby start sleeping for more than 3 to 4 hours?
Q. My babies are formula fed and are 2 months old. One sleeps for 4 hours and then 3 hours, the other one sleeps for only 3 hours at a time. This just started happening last week before that they both only slept for 3 hours. They eat every 2.5 to 3 hours during the day. Just was wondering when should I expect for them to sleep longer?

A. Cody is 4months in 4 days, and sleeps no more than 1 hour at a time. BUT he has colic, and some bowel problems. Ryan (same age) sleeps really well. In the last month he has started sleeping 7-8 hours of a night. It's fantastic. My other boys started from around 3 months, then started sleeping 12 hours a night by 8 months. xxx
